A very sore Monday...

Have you ever read a book and hated it so much that you just wanted it to end?
That is how I feel right now with Jodi Picoult's book- Vanishing Acts.  I've read almost all of her books and she is by far one of my favorite authors, but for some reason I just can't get into this book.
I have never started a book and NOT finished it...I just can't do it.

Hopefully Jodi pulls through like she always does and has an AMAZING ending!

Jodi books I've read:

Anyways...How was everyone's weekend?

Mine was nice and relaxing!

Friday, I walked in the house to find S passed out on the LOVESAC

<3
YES, this ugly chair is in my living room, but it is the MOST comfortable chair I have ever laid in!
They are expensive, but worth it if you have the room!
S bought this chair when I was not home one night and brought it home to "surprise me"...at first I hated it, but once I lied down in it, there was no turning back!

We napped and had dinner...not much to report for Friday!

Saturday was just as lazy! S and I went to our hometown, went to dinner and watched Good Fella's at my parents house.

Sunday, I woke up and went to the Pembroke Fool's Rush In 5K with the girls (Hence- why I am so sore today!)  Pathetic that I am that sore after only doing a 5K! I need to seriously start getting into shape! Summer is right around the corner!

After the 5k, I headed to my Best Friend's son's 8th Birthday party! Can't believe he is 8 years old...he was born when we were seniors in high school and was delivered a month early on April fools day.  When her mom called to let us know that our friend was in labor, none of us believed her!

Baby Aidan

8 year old Aidan!

Wish me luck that I make it to the gym tonight!!

Enjoy your Monday...

  1. I love Jodi Picoult! My faves are 19 Minutes and The Pact...and you're right, Vanishing Acts was hard to get through.

Just found your blog and it is so cute!
