Weekend Recap...

Today, I start my long journey towards obtaining my Masters Degree.
I'm super nervous and am hoping that I will be able to balance a full-time job, school, blogging, family and friends.
2013 is going to be one crazy year, but I am hoping for the best.

If any of you have ever balanced a full-time job and grad school, I'd love to hear any suggestions that you might have.

This weekend, I did a little prepping for school and made sure that I hit the gym.
Saturday afternoon, I went and got a manicure with 2 of my girlfriends.
One of the girls that I went with is super pregnant and due in a few weeks!
So exciting!

I couldn't decide what color I wanted and ended up choosing grey

{O.P.I- French Quarter for your thoughts}

 1. Saturday night, Steve and I went to a Scratch ticket party (never heard of one either).
There were 3 other couples and each of us brought $25 worth of scratch tickets.
We distributed the scratch tickets into piles and everyone scratched their pile.
After everyone was done scratching their pile, we sorted them into winners and losers and had the person to our left "re-check" the losers.
Next you take all of the winning tickets to the store, cash them in and buy more.
We all agreed to stop if we reached $500.00, since it can totally get out of hand.
The first round, we only won $120
the second round we ended up with $50
third round $25
last round $5
Although we didn't win big, we had a lot of laughs and I would definitely participate in another one.
2. A few winning tickets!
3. The boys admiring their fire.
4. Goodbye, Christmas Tree.

  4. What a fun weekend. I buy scratchers all the time in hopes of winning more than just the buck I spent on them haha. Love the nail color :)

  5. Love your nails! I just did mine a few nights ago but i'm loving that color enough that I think it's time for a change!

  6. Never heard of scratch ticket party, sounds kinda cool. But I am terrible at spending my money on that stuff I always feel bad about it
