Five on Friyay!

I can't believe that it's already Friday!  This week just flew by, but no complaints here!
Today, I'm Linking up for some 5 on Friday Fun:

One: First I would like to give myself a pat on the back for actually blogging three times this week. That's a record for me since I started this old blog back in 2012.  I'm so happy that Grad School is over and I have time for blogging again!  I promise I won't be a linkup sloot every week.

Two: I've been putting off getting our Fall decorations out of the basement.  I just can't face the reality that Summer is OVER here in New England for another 7-8 months, its actually quite depressing.  Despite this reality, I'm hoping to take some time this weekend to decorate our home for fall...(I know, I'm super late to the game this year).  How amazing are these Ginger Jar- inspired pumpkins that The Relished Roost paints?  I'm obsessed!

Three: This week at work I had a minor panic attack when I looked down and a small diamond was missing from my engagement band.  I dropped it off at the jewelers and feel SO naked....I want it back now please!

Four: I need to stop eating this pumpkin roll with cream cheese icing after dinner every night. #thepumpkinstruggleisreal

Five: I am currently watching the movie Troop Beverly Hills...does everyone remember that movie?  I loved it and still do!  The troop leaders outfits always cracked me up...I still get nervous-anxiety for Hannah and Phyllis at the end when they cross the big log over the ravine...

On a side note, when I was googling outfits from the movie Troop Beverly Hills, multiple group Halloween costumes showed up and I couldn't help but think how pure genius that is!  If anyone is looking for any "last minute" group costumes, you're welcome!

I hope everyone has a good weekend!

  1. I agree, putting away summer decor is super sad. Oh my goodness, I LOVE Troop Beverly Hills, such a fun movie. The costumes are sooooo 90s and I would love to be her for halloween.

    1. It's so sad! Isn't it the best movie!? It would have been the best group costume in College!

  2. Unfortunately I know the feeling of looking down and noticing a diamond missing! Happened to me a few months back but I assure you it won't be long before you get it back and it's looking good as new :)
