A Beach Lover: Christmas Crack

I've heard this Christmas toffee bark refereed to as "Christmas Crack" before and once you have one piece, you will completely understand why!  If you are looking for a super easy dessert to bring to a last minute Christmas party, this recipe is for you!

What You Need:
1 Stick of Butter
1 Cup of Light Brown Sugar
Chocolate Chips
Crushed Candy (I like candy canes and heath bar!)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Throw stick of butter and 1 cup of brown sugar in saucepan on stove over medium high heat.  Stir occasionally and bring to a boil.
Lay tinfoil on a cookie sheet and place saltines on it.
Once butter/sugar mixture has boiled you can pour over the saltines.
Place cookie sheet into the oven and bake for 5 minutes.
Once the 5 minutes is up, remove from oven and let sit for 1 minute.
Place chocolate chips on top of the saltines (if saltines have been moved you can place them back together using a fork).
Let chocolate chips melt for a minute and then use a rubber spatula to spread over the saltines.
Place crushed candy of your choice on top of the chocolate.
Once the saltines have cooled, place entire cookie sheet into the refrigerator and let harden for 2 -4 hours.
When you are ready to serve you can break saltines using your hands into messy, delicious pieces!
